Kevin is a married grandfather who has resided in Australia since 2006, originally coming from the UK.
His background is in construction, working as a civils manager, but he has always been involved in community projects and helped out where possible.
It could be said that his childhood was not an easy one, this is one of the primary motives that fuels his drive and determination to help others; especially the homeless.
Kevin understands that not everybody has the confidence to get through life easily; he knows how hard it is to get educated without the understanding and capabilities needed. Kevin intends to make it easier for less fortunate people to rebuild their lives and increase their self esteem and motivation.

Director – Paula O’Connor
Paula is a trained psychiatric nurse and has been working in this field for the last 18 years. Paula moved to Australia with her husband, Kevin, in 2006 after moving from the UK.
Paula has extensive experience working with disadvantaged people and has a natural desire to help those in need.

Director/Legal Secretary – David Wollage
David is currently studying for his Bachelor of Marketing and Media at Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia. Having spent most of his childhood in a single parent family, David is acutely aware and passionate about assisting people with rebuilding their lives. David believes that through communication and staunch determination something positive can be achieved for homeless people all over the world.

Director – Peter John Harrington
Born in 1987 in east London and moved to Australia when I was two and have lived here ever since. I grew up in a less than easy life struggling through school working dead end jobs. I have become almost homeless before, and was becoming homeless when I met Kevin O’Connor who took me in to his home and helped me out and now I have become a director of the Last Stronghold to help people that were much like me and in need of help, and now i have a new step in life.
